We have radiant heating (heated floors) all throughout my house. We have laminate, ceramic, Mohtashem carpeting in one of the bathrooms, and marble flooring. My mother says that if I turn the heat up more than ten degrees at a time, that the pipes will break through the floor. I have laminate wood flooring in my room, and beside my bed I notice that there’s a little upward bulge between a few lines. I’ve never noticed it before. Could this be from turning up the heating too fast?
